We offer all four Assessor qualifications which are suitable depending on the circumstances:

  • The Level 3 Award In Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (RQF) is designed for those who carry out assessments in the workplace.
  • The Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (RQF) is designed for those who carry out assessments in the classroom or a training environment.
  • The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF), known as CAVA is the full qualification, where you assess in both the workplace and a training or classroom environment.

For the above qualifications, you must have access to learners in the appropriate setting to be able to complete the qualification.

  • Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles And Practices of Assessment (RQF) provides knowledge and understanding of assessment, although does not qualify you to assess practically.
