Suitability
Who should do this course?
This course is an ideal progression route for experienced IQAs. It is useful for anyone working for or with an awarding organisation training to become an EQA.
Pre-requisites
Learners must be aged 19+ years to enrol on this course. Experience and knowledge of Assessment and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) is essential. It is strongly recommended that EQA candidates hold a recognised assessor and IQA qualification before enrolling on to this qualification.
The second unit of this qualification requires evidence of conducting a real EQA visit on a regulated centre, in person. This must be under the supervision of a qualified EQA.
It is not suitable if you are not currently working as an EQA for an awarding organisation. You may consider the basic knowledge qualification as an alternative.
Certificate
Typically, within 14 days of successful completion, learners will receive an externally accredited PDF certificate from a nationally recognised and Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation.
Below is an example of the certificate issued by Focus Awards.

If you prefer a hard-copy certificate, you can print it yourself or order a printed certificate upon completion.
