ATC Training has launched three OPITO Global Vocational Qualifications for professionals who deliver training, assess competence or verify assessment standards. Each course combines flexible distance learning with practical evidence from the workplace, helping you develop skills you can apply in your role.
OPITO Train The Trainer Vocational Qualification
If you deliver training or are preparing to become a workplace trainer, the OPITO Train The Trainer Vocational Qualification covers the full training cycle: identifying learning needs, planning sessions, delivering training, assessing learners and evaluating results.
This SCQF Level 6 qualification includes practical tasks and the delivery of at least two training sessions, one of which is observed. You will need access to a real learner and opportunities to gather practical evidence.
OPITO Assessor Vocational Qualification
The OPITO Assessor Vocational Qualification is designed for people appointed, or preparing to be appointed, to assess workplace competence. You will learn to plan assessments, review candidate performance, make assessment decisions, give feedback and maintain records.
This SCQF Level 8 qualification requires you to carry out assessment activities in the workplace. You will need access to at least two candidates to assess.
OPITO Internal Verifier Vocational Qualification
For professionals responsible for the quality of workplace assessment, the OPITO Internal Verifier Vocational Qualification focuses on monitoring assessors, reviewing assessment decisions and supporting consistent standards.
This SCQF Level 8 qualification includes workplace verification evidence. You will need access to at least two assessors undertaking assessment activities.
